CACA Workshop

GGHS organized a workshop led by Children Against Child Abuse (CACA) for both parents and teachers. The session covered key topics such as recognizing, preventing, and addressing child abuse. It emphasized the importance of understanding child abuse, fostering safe environments, and teaching children about their rights. The workshop also provided guidance on preventive measures and building trust with children. Parents appreciated the session for its thoroughness and clarity. GGHS remains dedicated to prioritizing the safety and well-being of all students.

Anti Bullying Workshop

A workshop on ‘Bullying,’ held in partnership with FORTIS, was a great success! Students from grades III to XII participated, learning how to identify and address bullying, both in-person and online. Led by Dr. Arushi Saluja, the workshop focused on teaching students how to recognize, prevent, and respond to bullying while promoting positive interactions. Through interactive activities and discussions, students gained valuable skills to help create a safer and more supportive environmen

Career Counselling

GGHS recently organized a workshop in collaboration with Career Launcher. On May 23rd, a Zoom webinar was conducted for students in grades 9 to 12 and their parents. The following day, May 24th, an in-person session was held in the school’s seminar hall, attended by numerous parents. The webinar addressed key topics such as the evolving education landscape, the journey from career choice to college selection, the CUET exam as an entry point to Delhi University, career options beyond specific streams, the importance of aptitude test preparation, and the role of parents in career planning. Deepak Madan, a mentor from Career Launcher, led the sessions, offering valuable insights and guidance to all attendees.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMME

Storytelling Session

GGHS organized a storytelling session in nearby societies, led by a group of enthusiastic teachers. This interactive event engaged both parents and children, promoting communication and participation. Teachers skilfully used props to bring the stories to life, making the session more engaging and enjoyable. The activity not only entertained but also enhanced the communication skills of the children, encouraging them to express themselves more confidently. Parents appreciated the event, and the session successfully fostered a sense of community while promoting the love for storytelling and language development.

Interact Club- Grandparents

The Interact Club students of Gurugram Global Heights School visited Joy Ville Society to celebrate Grandparents Day. The event honoured the love and wisdom grandparents provide, with students performing songs, dances, and games, delighting the elderly residents. Personalized greeting cards and food packets filled with millets were distributed, promoting healthy eating. The day ended with meaningful conversations between the students and grandparents, fostering intergenerational bonds. This initiative highlighted the school’s commitment to community service, empathy, and social responsibility, making the celebration both memorable and impactful.

Interact Club- Donation Drive

The Interact Club students of Gurugram Global Heights School organized a donation drive to help those in need. The aim of the drive was to install a sense of empathy and kindness among students. The students actively participated by donating clothes, toys, and books. Teachers and school staff also contributed generously to the cause, making the event a collective effort. The drive was a great success, highlighting the importance of giving and sharing, while also teaching students the value of helping others in their community.

Bakevity

Gurugram Global Heights School (GGHS) organized a special “Parent-Child Baketivity” session at Club Chorus, Experion The Heartsong, for children aged 2 to 6 years. The event focused on cakesicle making and was designed to create a fun, hands-on learning experience for both parents and children. Our expert educator and baking chef led the session, guiding parent-child pairs through the steps of baking delicious cakesicles. This complimentary session aimed to enhance the learning experience by combining creativity with practical skills. The event was filled with joy and excitement as families bonded over the art of baking, making it a memorable day for all participants. GGHS remains dedicated to offering unique learning opportunities that foster creativity, collaboration, and hands-on experiences for students and their families.
