Library Policy
All students, teachers, and staff are automatic members of the school library.
1. Borrowing Limits

2. Issue & Return Rules
Books will be issued only during library periods or designated hours.
Books must be returned on or before the due date. Late returns will attract a fine as per policy.
Reference books, magazines, and newspapers are not issued.
3. Fine Policy (Strict Enforcement)
If a book is not returned within 30 days (1 month), a fine of ₹50 per week will be charged thereafter.
If a book remains overdue beyond 30 days, borrowing privileges may be suspended.
No new books will be issued until all dues are cleared.
4. Renewal Policy
Books may be renewed only once.
Renewal must be done before the due date.
5. Loss or Damage of Books
In case of loss:
Replace with the same book (latest edition), OR Pay double the cost of the book.
In case of damage:
Fine will be charged based on the extent of damage. Writing, tearing, or marking in books is strictly prohibited.
6. Reservation System
Books that are currently issued may be reserved.
Reserved books must be collected within 2 days, failing which the reservation will be cancelled.
7. Conduct in the Library
Maintain silence and discipline at all times.
Eating, drinking, and mobile phone usage are strictly prohibited.
Follow all instructions given by the librarian.
8. End-of-Session Clearance
All library books must be returned before final examinations.
Students will not receive report cards/admit cards until library clearance is completed.
9. Special Rules
The Librarian reserves the right to:
Recall any issued book at any time.
Refuse issuance of books to members violating rules. Modify rules as per school requirements.
