Modus Operandi
1. Parents/Guardians should go through the contents of this almanac carefully and abide by the School Rules.
2. Whenever a parent/Guardian writes to school about his/her ward, he/she should clearly
mention the full name, class and section of the pupil.
3. No student is allowed to leave the premises before school is over, unless permission has been granted a day in advance. Parents should avoid seeking any appointments for medical reasons during school hours. Don’t send sick child to the school.
4. The medium of instruction in the school is English. To keep pace with the standard of the school by the parents, student should be encouraged by the parents or guardians to converse in English at home also.

6. OUR HOUSES
The House System at the school fosters coordination, a healthy competitive spirit, leadership, and self-discipline among students.
Each house is overseen by a House Warden, supported by a Captain, Vice-Captain, and Prefects to instil leadership, societal ethics, and personal integrity.
Students from grades I to XII are divided into four houses:
Lillian – Yellow
Ivan – Blue
Emery – Red
Ellis – Green
7. LIBRARY
The school library is open to all bonafide students of the school. All the classes are provided with at least one library period per week. Students have to observe the following rules in Library:
Students are expected to maintain absolute silence in the library.
Books are issued for one week only.
Damaged, marked or disfigured books will have to be replaced or paid for by the borrower.
The library has an open shelf system and students are expected to adhere to the order in which the books are arranged while picking them up or placing them back on different shelves.
Students must place the books properly on the racks after consultation and not leave them on tables.
Students are not allowed to bring their personal books in the library.
8. FEE GUIDELINES
It is the responsibility of the parents to deposit the fee and other charges on time. Fee is required to be deposited by the 10th of every month.

LATE FEE
After the due date of payment, a late fee of ₹100/- per day will be levied.
Fee payment to be made by cheque in the name of Gurugram Global Heights School.
DISHONOURED CHEQUE
If the check gets dishonoured due to any reason, a penalty of ₹500 shall be levied and the payment of dues, inclusive of amount of penalty and late fee (leviable after the due date of payment) upto the date of payment, shall be accepted by Demand Draft/ Pay Order.

school rules
Every student should carry this Almanac to school every day.
Students should come to school punctually. Those coming to school on their own must reach before the bell rings.
Morning bell is a signal for all to conduct assembly. Every student must attend the morning assembly each day.
Changing of class rooms between periods should be done promptly, silently and in orderly manner.
Students should be habitually clean and neatly dressed. They must come to school in prescribed uniform only. Special care should be taken by them about their personal hygiene like cutting of nails and trimming/tying of hair in an orderly manner.
Students should not bring expensive watches, jewellery, calculators or any other gadgets to school. School does not undertake any responsibility in case of loss of such things.
Shouting or whistling is not allowed in school premises.
Students should not drive any vehicles. No vehicle driven by a student will be allowed to be parked inside/near the School.
It is strictly forbidden to throw anything at anyone inside the school premises.
Firing of crackers in school premises is strictly prohibited. Strict disciplinary action will be taken in such cases.
Lending or borrowing of money or other articles is not permitted.
Students coming to school with their escorts should never leave before the escort arrives.
Parents/Guardians must not reach classroom directly. They should always contact the school reception for any queries/pick ups.
No parent/guardian should contact the teacher without seeking prior appointment with the approval of HOS. However, teachers can be approached directly on the days fixed for Parent Educator Conferences (PECs) or on Saturdays 08:00 AM to 10:00 AM with prior appointment.
The name, class and section of the student should clearly be marked on all his/her belongings such as books, blazers, water bottles, etc.
A student found using unfair means in the examination will be awarded zero in the particular subject and a warning will be issued. Repetition of such an event will result into strict actions.
Vandalism is a serious offence. Students must take care of school property. They should not write or draw on walls or furniture. They should not scratch or spoil the furniture and charts. Those who will indulge into vandalism will get it repaired. A fine can also be imposed on those found guilty.
Any damage noticed by a student should be reported immediately even if it is not known who the person involved is.
Strict measures shall be taken against truants.
The school remains closed on Sundays unless notified otherwise.
स्कूल के नियम
- प्रत्येक विद्यार्थी को यह पंचांग प्रतिदिन विद्यालय में ले कर आना चाहिए।
- विद्यार्थियों को समय से विद्यालय आना चाहिए। जो विद्यार्थी अपने साधन से विद्यालय आ रहे हैं, उन्हें पहली घंटी से पहले विद्यालय परिसर में पहुँचना होगा।
- सुबह की घंटी, सभा के लिए प्रार्थनासभा आयोजन का संकेत देती है। प्रत्येक विद्यार्थी सभा में प्रतिदिन सम्मिलित होना चाहिए।
- कालांश (Periods) के समय एक कक्षा से दूसरी कक्षा में बदलाव चुपचाप और व्यवस्थित ढंग से तुरंत करना चाहिए।
- बच्चों की आदत साफ – सुथरा होना चाहिए अर्थात् निर्धारित साफ कपड़े पहनने चाहिए। उन्हें विद्यालय द्वारा निर्धारित व निर्धारित वर्दी में आना चाहिए। साथ ही उनकी व्यक्तिगत स्वच्छता – नाखूनों का काटना , बालों का संवारना /बाँधना(व्यवस्थित ढंग से ) इत्यादि का विशेष ध्यान रखा जाए।
- बच्चों को महँगी घड़ियाँ , आभूषण , इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स आदि कुछ भी विद्यालय में नहीं लाना चाहिए विद्यालय ऐसे कीमती वस्तुओं के नुकसान के लिए जिम्मेदार नहीं होगा।
- स्कूल परिसर में चिल्लाना या सीटी बजाना अनुशासन नहीं है।
- बच्चे भी वाहन न चलायें। फिर भी यदि विद्यार्थी वाहन चलाकर विद्यालय आ रहा है, तो स्कूल के अंदर / सामने वाहन पार्किंग की अनुमति नहीं होगी।
- स्कूल परिसर के अंदर किसी भी प्रकार की चीजें फेंकना मना है।
- स्कूल परिसर में पटाखे चलाना सख्त मना है। ऐसे मामलों में कठोर अनुशासनात्मक कार्यवाही की जाएगी।
- घर या बाहर से कोई वस्तु लाने की तभी अनुमति होगी।
- अपने अनुचरों के साथ विद्यालय आए बच्चे विद्यालय परिसर से तभी जाएँगे जब उनका अनुचरक आएगा।
- माता – पिता , अभिभावकों को कक्षा में न पहुँचना चाहिए। उन्हें चाहिए कि वे शिक्षिका से मिलने हेतु स्कूल रिसेप्शन से संपर्क करें।
- शिक्षिका से बिना पूर्वानुमति संपर्क न करें। शिक्षकों से केवल पैरेंट एजुकेटर मीटिंग (PECs) के निर्धारित दिनों में या शनिवार को सुबह 08:00 AM से 10:00 AM के मध्य भेंट की जा सकती है।
- विद्यार्थी के सभी वस्त्रों एवं अन्य सामानों पर स्पष्ट रूप से नाम , कक्षा , ब्लेज़र , बॉटल आदि अंकित हों , ताकि सामान खोने पर पुनः खोजा जा सके।
- छात्राें को स्कूल की संपत्ति की देखभाल अपनी संपत्ति की तरह करनी चाहिए। उन्हें दीवारों व फर्नीचर आदि पर लिखना, खरोंचना या चित्र आदि नहीं बनाना चाहिए। स्कूल की संपत्ति को नुकसान पहुँचाने वालों से इसकी मरम्मत कराई जाएगी। दोषी पाए जाने की स्थिति में जुर्माना भी लगाया जा सकता है।
- विद्यालय परिसर में घटित किसी घटना को किसी भी छात्र द्वारा देखे जाने पर तुरंत सूचना देना जाना चाहिए। भले ही पता न हो कि इसमें शामिल व्यक्ति कौन है।
- पूर्व पूर्व सूचना के लगातार अनुपस्थित होने वाले विद्यार्थियों के खिलाफ सख्त कदम उठाए जाएँगे।
जब तक सूचना न किया जाए , रविवार को स्कूल बंद रहेंगे।
CODE OF CONDUCT FOR STUDENTS

It is mandatory for each student to wear STUDENT IDENTITY CARD during school hours.

The ALMANAC is to be brought to the school every day.

All students must come to school on time.

The lights, fans and A.Cs are to be switched off in classrooms before leaving the class.

Students must come to school in neat and tidy uniforms only. Scribbling on uniform is not allowed.

Students are not allowed to bring personal sports equipments to the school unless asked for.

Students must enter the school only in school uniform even if they are coming for PECs/ submissions of files / doubt clearing sessions etc.

Bullying is strictly prohibited inside the school premises. Zero tolerance will be maintained for this in school.

Students must refrain themselves from taking short leaves on one pretext or the other.

Students must move in an orderly manner when moving to different venues.

Applying nail paint/nail art/tattoos/henna is not permitted.

Students are warned about the use of abusive and obscene language against teachers and students on social media networking sites. This is a criminal activity and will be considered a serious offense.

Bringing fireworks/ bursting or extending any kind of support for exploding crackers or splashing water or colors in the school premises or outside the vicinity of the school is strictly prohibited even during festival timings.

Students must ensure discipline inside the school campus.

School will issue yellow cards to the students if they are found disobeying the rules of the school. If 3 cards are issued in succession, strict disciplinary action will be taken against the student.

Students must keep their class rooms and school premises neat and clean.

Students should not bring any self-driven vehicles to school.

Shouting or whistling, running, talking in / around corridors, or in the school building is not allowed.

Birthday Policy – Students from Grade VI onwards are not allowed to wear casuals on the birthdays.
