The Primary Stage Academic Programme
ASSESSMENT POLICY FOR MIDDLE STAGE
The Primary Stage Academic Programme, guided by the National Education Policy (NEP), nurtures young learners through a joyful and engaging learning environment where curiosity and confidence are encouraged.
At this stage, emphasis is placed on developing strong reading, writing, numeracy, and communication skills through play-based learning, storytelling, art integration, music, movement, and guided exploration. Learning experiences are designed to be age-appropriate and meaningful, helping children understand concepts naturally while developing good learning habits.
Constructivist approach by teachers to encourage discovery, inquiry-based learning, and discussions over lecturing. Regular observation and gentle feedback support each child’s growth, while focus on values, social interaction, and emotional development ensures a strong and happy foundation for future learning.
