for Student Safety
1 - Arrival and dispersal timings are as follows:
Walkers/Self-pickup (Gate No. 1)
- Morning: 7:45 AM onwards
- Noon: 12:30 PM
- Evening: 3:00 PM
School Bus Routes: As per the schedule shared on the Route groups.
All individuals must adhere to these timings to ensure the smooth operation of the school.
2 - Parent Access
Designated Drop-off Points:
- Grades 1-12: School Gate No. 1
- Nursery, LKG & UKG: Entrance gate of the building (next to the reception)
- Pre-Nursery Students: Pre-Nursery classroom
Parents are required to drop off their children at the designated points only.
3 - Supervision
At the time of Arrival & Dispersal:
- Supervised by assigned teachers and/or nannies both on the school bus as well as at the school/building gate.
Teacher-Student Ratio:
The teacher-student ratio is in compliance with statutory guidelines/ CBSE norms
Entry-Level Grades:
Nannies are assigned to all Pre-Primary classes.
4 -Building Infrastructure
Designated Drop-off Points:
- The school building comprises six levels, equipped with ramps, staircases, elevators, and necessary safety equipment including CCTV cameras, adhering to statutory norms.
- The school focuses on psychomotor skill development to enhance students' balance, resilience, and agility.
- The primary objective is to foster independence in students, enabling them to manage daily tasks such as carrying their bags and navigating the school independently.
5 - Parent/Guardian ID Cards
- Parents must present Parents’ school id cards and sign the pick-up register at the time of picking up their children from the school.
- It is mandatory for parents to get the necessary Police clearance certificate, if hiring any Private vehicle operators to ferry their wards to and from school. The details of the driver and or attendant including their Police clearance certificate must be submitted to the school authorities along with an affidavit from the Parents authorising such person/s well in advance.
6 - Communication
- Parents are expected to comply with safety and security circulars issued by the school authorities from time to time.
7 - Management of School Activities
Parents must refrain from:
- Engaging in prolonged conversations with teachers during drop-off or pick-up times.
- Obstructing the movement passage / entry-exit gates of the school or building
To fix appointments to meet teachers, coordinators, admin staff, Vice Principal and other higher authorities a parent may contact the school reception or email on info@gghschool.com.
8 - Community Engagement and Cooperation:
- The school is committed to maintaining a secure environment for all the stakeholders and values cooperation from the community.
- Duty rosters for teachers and nannies overseeing morning arrivals and afternoon dispersals are regularly reviewed.
- Parents are encouraged to support the school in addressing challenges that may arise due to adverse weather conditions or other external factors.
