A wise man once said, “After nourishment, shelter, and companionship, stories are the thing we need most in the world.” To give wings to a child’s imagination and taking them to places beyond the boundaries of our physical world and into the land of fairies, dragons and wishing trees, story narration proves to be the most idealistic technique for students of all ages. Weaving the skills of creativity, poise, confidence, and imagination, GGHS conducted an on the spot Story Telling activity for all the students on February 27, 2019. The students were asked to gather things from a room and create their own story. The students made effective use of their imagination, gesture and voice modulation. The activity proved to be a great adhesive to connect to like-minded characters or see the world literally from within someone else’s skin.
