“WORKSHOP ON ANGER MANAGEMENT”.
“Circumstances make us angry. To overreact to such situations in an uncontrolled manner is its presentation.
But…
To react in a controlled manner and handling the circumstances with a positive attitude is Anger Management.”
Here is one more commitment of GGHS that was appreciated by the audience was “Workshop on Anger Management “.
Under the benign presence of our Vice-Principal Ma’am, Dr. Bhavna Chibber the event was a great success.

We believe that this kind of session will help us to overcome this time of desperation and help our mind to function with peace and happiness.
Let’s have a glimpse of the event

Fun With Paper
“Without playing with fantasy no creative work has ever yet come to birth. The debt we owe to the play of imagination is incalculable.” Celebrations of Diwali commence with the decoration of your surroundings with frills and diyas. In order to add a twist to the celebration this time, Gurugram Global Heights school conducted a workshop on making beautiful decorative craft material for Diwali. The students were fascinated to learn about an array of craft material that can be made using paper and scissors. The resource person taught the students how many items they can make out of the different coloured sheets. The workshop was indeed a platform for the students to be creative learners.

To imbibe a healthy relationship among the stakeholders of a school, it is crucial to give them the impression of the school curriculum and strategies. Gurugram Global Heights School conducted an Open House for the parents of Montessori classes. The session was initiated by a beautiful quote:” To be in your child’s memories tomorrow, you have to be in their lives today.” The session revolved around the vision of early years that believes in holistic growth through a child’s engagement. The trainer gave an insight into the teaching strategies used by the teachers in the school to familiarize the parents as what their child is learning up to. The active involvement of the parents made the session more interactive and useful. The Vice-Principal of the school, Ms. Bhavna Chibber concluded the session by her words, “Try to see your child as a seed that came in a packet without the label. Your job is to provide the right environment and nutrients and to pull the weeds. You can’t decide what kind of flower you’ll get or in which season it will bloom.”

A wise man once said, “After nourishment, shelter, and companionship, stories are the thing we need most in the world.” To give wings to a child’s imagination and taking them to places beyond the boundaries of our physical world and into the land of fairies, dragons and wishing trees, story narration proves to be the most idealistic technique for students of all ages. Weaving the skills of creativity, poise, confidence, and imagination, GGHS conducted an on the spot Story Telling activity for all the students on February 27, 2019. The students were asked to gather things from a room and create their own stories. The students made effective use of their imagination, gesture, and voice modulation. The activity proved to be a great adhesive to connect to like-minded characters or see the world literally from within someone else’s skin.
